ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hello, I'm Yana Volf, a passionate portrait artist based in Miami. Originally from Uzbekistan, I grew up in Istanbul, which exposed me to diverse cultures and artistic influences from an early age.
While I have had various professional experiences in the hospitality and beauty industries, my heart has always been drawn to art. Photography, in particular, played a significant role in my journey. Through capturing beautiful images, I developed an eye for composition and a deep appreciation for the power of visual storytelling.
My time in the beauty industry, specifically working on permanent makeup, revealed my love for drawing eyebrows. This realization ultimately led me to my true passion: drawing portraits. There is something magical about capturing the spark in someone's eyes and paying attention to every intricate detail that makes each face unique.
One of the aspects I truly cherish about being an artist is the ability to take my craft with me wherever I go. As a lover of travel, it brings me immense joy to create art inspired by the places I visit and the people I meet along the way.
